Innovo Music produced a performance based music video of the Arctic Monkeys song 'Arabella'. This video is done very professionally and actually looks like a genuine music video.
The colour scheme for the video is black and white which really gives the video a sophisticated feel to it and makes it look professional. The fact that all three of the boys are wearing very smart black and white clothes also compliments the colour scheme and sophisticated look.
Throughout the video, there is a lot of smoke filling the room and floating past the screen. This creates a very cool and mysterious look and really makes you wonder how they got the smoke to puff out of the microphone the way it does.
A lot of mid shots and close up shots are used throughout the video, these show the emotion on the peoples faces and also the cool props etc that they used such as the record player and microphone. The mixture of close ups shows the quality of the camera used as it is able to capture great detail at such a close angle.
Filters and effects are used a lot during this video. This can look very tacky if over done with the wrong effects, however they have used it perfectly in this video. The effects really compliment the video and break up the lip syncing parts to make it more interesting and cool. Every effect used fits with the whole image of the video as it looks very sophisticated, cool and almost vintage.
The lip syncing in this video is done very well however, I feel like the singer could have made the lip movements more pronounced so it was clearer that he was singing.
