Evaluation question 4-How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

Technologies used

• Go pro hero 2 and 3- Most of/ nearly all of our video was filmed with a go pro(in the lake scene we filmed with a couple of go pro’s, This gave a good effect as it gave a 1st person experience and made you feel as if you were a part of the video. It also has great quality and battery life, along with the go pro we had a waterproof case with it which enabled us to film at the lake.
• Nikon 522- This was a great quality, both light and small. We used this for our city seens as this gave us a greater depth in the picture
• Samsung s5- Although this is phone, it has a great 18 mega bite camera.
• Final cut- we used this for our editing software. We have used this before so we had the hang of how to use it. However it was both quick and effective and gave us some really good effects.
• Youtube- This helped us immensely. It enabled us to research and study other music videos; both professional and past student work. We also used this to find the music for our video.
• Blogger- All our work we completed we posted on our blog, this, made it easier to look back on our work as it was all in one place. Very easy to use
• Emaze, glogster, prezi- we used these website as we wanted to use different technologies. The were all easy to use however some were more effective than others. All of which were then posted on the blog.
